1) How do I register?
It’s easy! Call, come by, or e-mail us to schedule a consultation. 2) What type of registries do you offer? We currently only offer wedding registries 3) Do I need to make an appointment to register? In order to provide you with the service you deserve at the time most convenient for you, we strongly suggest you make an appointment so we can assist you in understanding our program and in organizing your registry. In addition, when you register, you will be assigned a scanner to help choose and add items to your registry. Schedule enough time to do this; your first visit will take 1-2 hours, subsequent visits will take less time. After all, it’s your time to build that dream wish list and we want to make sure you take the time to make the right choices. 4) How long will it take me to register? That’s up to you and how much thought you have put into what you need and want for your home and your life together. Your initial consultation can take a couple of hours, however, you do not need to finish everything in one day. We can get you started on the first day and then you can return as many times as you’d like to add more items to your registry. 5) How many gifts should I register for? This is one of the most important things to consider when registering. To do this, you will need to take into account the number of guests invited to the engagement party, showers, and the wedding. Ideally, you want to be able to present your guests with a wide variety of gifts and price-points to choose from. Most registries will recommend that you register for twice as many gifts as people invited to the wedding. 6) How do I tell people where I am registered? Your gift registry consultant will be happy to provide you with “registered at Sam’s Home Hardware” cards that will make it easier for you to let your guests know where you have registered. While it is increasingly popular to inform your guests that you are registered in the wedding, shower or party invitations, the most foolproof option is to make sure your parents, the wedding party and other close friends and family know where you are registered so that they can spread the word on your behalf. 7) Will my guests be able to view my registry items on-line? Yes, your guests can access your registry by clicking on your name under the registry section found at www.samshomehardware.com 8) May I return a gift that was duplicated? Yes. We will be happy to return your item for credit on a Home Hardware Gift Card that can be used at any Home Hardware store. 9) How do I add or delete items from my registry? A gift registry consultant will be happy to make any additions or deletions to your registry. Please drop into the store to outline changes or send an e-mail to: bradroth@rogers.com to add, delete or update finished items. 10) Can I update my registry on-line? Yes, please send an e-mail to jenny.roth@homehardware.ca and your registry will be updated within 24 hours. |
